Premixing Pesticides in
Turf Oil Provides:

How Does It Work:

Turf Oil is a combination of pure food grade soybean oil with emulsifiers and stabilizers. This combination is properly blended to serve as a carrier, surfactant, penetrant, and spreader/sticker.

Carrier:

Turf Oil has the unique advantage of serving as a pesticide carrier when premixed with the pesticide before adding to the spray tank containing water. Each oil droplet contains some of the pesticide active ingredient.

Surfactant:

Turf Oil, as a surfactant, improves the performance of pesticides on turf. When used at recommended rates, improved coverage may be expected.

Penetrant:

Turf Oil enhances the ability of a herbicide to move through the surface of the leaf and into the plant.

Spreader/Sticker:

The properties of Turf Oil enable pesticides to adhere to the leaf surface and resist washoff. Pesticides applied with Turf Oil can be rainfast in 20 minutes.

Reduced pesticide runoff and leaching.
Reduced pesticide degradation through photo-decomposition
and oxidation.

Protection of the pesticide for two - three weeks longer life.
Control of pesticide volatility and drift.
Improved coverage of the pesticide.
Rainfast coverage within twenty minutes.
Properties of Turf Oil

Turf Oil is a pure, food grade, soybean oil; the same oil used in salad and cooking oils. It is 100% biodegradable and does not require EPA registration.
Turf Oil maximizes pesticide effectiveness and reduces pesticide volatility.
Turf Oil Minimizes leaching and runoff, reducing the potential for surface and groundwater contamination.
Turf Oil minimizes the number of fine droplets caused by spray equipment, keeping the mixtures spray where it should be - on target.
Turf Oil is an adjuvant and a non-ionic surfactant and requires no other adjuvants.
Turf Oil is gentle to turf and will not cause injury to sensitive grasses
